to bring back the pride of teachers and upgrade the falling standard of education and hospitals and restore back the lost glory of the state if elected.Addressing party faithful at Ughelli, Ughelli North Local Government
Area, Oyovwi said, “My campaigns has to start from Ughelli because this my home and the people have suffered so much in the hands the previous administrations because there is no governance at all and we cannot continue like that.
“When I came to Nigeria, I was a shame of our health system, no light, no quarters for Medical Doctors and the whole places are messed up, teachers are being owed bulk of salaries and arias and I was like, we cannot start like this and the system must change.
“Our hospitals are in rot, workers are being owed salaries for months only to be paid when elections are around the corner and it is very unfortunate to be owing teachers’ salaries
According to Oyovwi, “Delta state is one of the most blessed states in the country but when came to the state, one would easily noticed that nothing is happening because of bad governance and poor representation.
“I am in the race to make sure our hospitals are workable, raise the
standard of education, pay teachers as at when due and establish tourism centers across the state and make life economically habitable because we are naturally blessed with natural resources by God.
“We have grown beyond the politics of giving money to electorates to vote and abandon them for the next 4years to wallow in abject poverty gbut to meet with them, know their problems and find a lasting solution.
“The pride of teachers must be brought back, give free education to our children, our hospitals need to be upgraded and free medical care from age 0-5 years and 60 years and above and with our party, MRDD, Deltans are sure of good governance.
Appealing to all Deltans to vote wisely, Oyovwi assured that his government will have employment program, create enabling environment which will allow foreign investors to revive the ailing industries in the state.
